Other than my parents, no one else had a greater influence on my life than Chief Emmett Perrilloux. I had the honor to serve with him at Natalbany Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1970's and early 1980's, where he helped guide many young fellows like me during our formative years. He was, without a doubt, the kindest, most compassionate person that I have ever known. He was a Christian in every sense of the word and a role model to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. God Bless him.
