I want to give give my heart felt condolences to the entire family, Bennie, all the children and grandchildren. Marlene and her family are lifelong friends and she has known me since I was a baby. My mother and my sisters are praying for the family.

Mama I still can not believe we said goodbye yesterday. I thought I would wake up and it was all a dream. I know that you are in a better place and you are not in any pain. But my heart is still broken. May you Rest In Peace I will always love and miss you. Until we meet again

Lifting my favorite childhood neighbors in prayer. I have so many fond memories of your mom. To her clean smelling house, yummy cooking (stuffed artichokes especially). Her driving us to school. We had it good on Scanlan St. I'm sure she is having a grand reunion with her Heavenly family, and her and mom reconnecting. She was an amazing mom. Oh, and all the trips to New Orleans for Mardi Gras! She is beautiful and at peace. Sending hugs.
