Frank Salvadore Restivo Obituary

Frank Salvadore Restivo was born August 16, 1927, in Independence, LA to the late Joe and Vita Pingo Restivo. He passed away at his residence in Tickfaw, LA December 1, 2021, at age 94. Frank was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic and retired in 1986 after 32 years of service from the Physical Plant Services at Southeastern Louisiana University. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Grace Schiro Restivo; children, Vickie Restivo Strahan (Arthur), Virginia Restivo Danna (John), Carlo Frank Restivo (Gayle), and Frank Restivo, Jr. (Barbara); siblings, Christine Castjohn, Pauline Restivo Abene, and Phine Restivo Abene; grandchildren, Wendy Restivo Kutz (Michael), Joseph Restivo, Jr, Travis John Lindsey (Mary), Sonya Lindsey Fuselier (Jon), Bret Alan Strahan, John Hardy Danna (Marcie), Stephanie Anderson McGovern (Dave), Salvadore Anderson (Mariah), and Alex Anderson (Megan), and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Salvadore Restivo, and siblings, Jimmy Migiccio, Dominick Restivo, Margaret Restivo Loupe, Annie Restivo, Mary Lamonte, France Lamonte, and Lena Fallia. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 LA 442, Tickfaw at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Pallbearers will be John Danna, Jr., Travis Lindsey, Joseph Restivo, Jr., Sal Anderson, Alex Anderson, and Nicolas Johnson.
