Raymond Costa, 68, a lifelong resident of Hammond, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.

He was born to parents, Angelo J. Costa, Sr. and Mary Campise Costa of Loranger, Louisiana. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Frank S. Tallia, Sr.

Raymond is survived by his caring, devoted, and loving wife Kathy Tallia Costa of 44 years and his beloved children, a son and daughter, Ray and Rachel Costa of Hammond.

Raymond retired from having 45 years of employment with the Hammond Post Office at the age of 66.

Raymond enjoyed bowling, fishing, and softball. He always cheered on and watched the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football games.

Family, friends, and relatives are invited to attend the visitation to be held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, October 10, 2021, beginning at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Raymond was a good man and will be missed until all meet again with God. He was our mailman for 40 years on Sallie Kinchen Road. No matter how busy, he always had time to talk with his clients. Our condolences to Raymonds family and friends.

We made Hammond home in 2016 after relocating from KY Mr.Raymond was our mailman who was always friendly with a smile he often brought the mail into the sunroom if we weren't present,he has been missed for awhile now not realizing he'd retired! Prayers & God's gentle peace on his soul & loved ones mind & heart during this time of grief!

Raymond will always be missed. Raymond delivered mail to my family for many many years he always had a smile. Raymond would go out of his Way on many occasions. He would deliver mail to the house if it was raining or any bad weather. Raymond rest in peace the man upstairs got a great person. WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER RAYMOND SUCH A GREAT PERSON AND SADLY MISSED.
