When I entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame as a Novice Joan helped to dress me. She was a very dear friend of mine and I chose her to be one of two to help assist me. She was so short that she had to stand on a chair in order to put the pins in my veil.
I always remember Joan as such a fun-loving and uplifting person.
May she be enjoying a joy-filled peace in heaven as she celebrates Advent with Christ in a special way!
