Condolence & Memory Journal

Mike will be dearly missed. We are fortunate and blessed to have had him as our leader and mentor. Mike looked after us and helped make sure we made it home from our shift everyday. Mike truly cared about our well being and guided us back then when we were learning how to police. I´m glad we were able to get together and reminisce about old times. It is clear Mike had a significant impact on all of our lives and it is to his credit we grew into who we are today.

From the first day when you were my training officer in the 2nd District you have always been one of the truest friends I´ve had. Your memory will never be gone. God Bless you my friend, looking forward to that reunion some day. Love you brother.

Mary, George, Robert and family,
Mike was my Sergeant in the Fourth District at JPSO. He was our leader, mentor, friend and Brother. He had the ability to lead, and supervise, and we followed him into any situation knowing he had our backs.
In the past few months Mike met with several of us, old platoon Brothers, for lunch in
Madisonville. We told old war stories and laughed like old times.
God bless Sergeant Mike McGill, and comfort his family during their time of mourning.

Mike was a former brother-in-law and a friend for many years. We kept in touch, and he was there if I needed anything. He loved his boys. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.
