"C.J." Casimier J. Scandurro, age 75, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 11, 2021, at home from a heart attack. He was born on Wednesday, October 10, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Dominick J. Scandurro and Gladys Brown Scandurro. CJ was a long-time resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana and along with his wife and partner Mary, was the owner and operator of C.J.'s Antiques and Collectibles for 28 years. C.J. was known for his kindness, generosity, honesty, humor and most of all for his family. He was a towering figure who left a mark on the lives of all those who were lucky enough to know him, and he will leave a void in us all, but one that can be partially filled by the fond memories of the boisterous and larger than life figure he was. He will be loved, missed, and remembered for generations to come. There will never be another man like him.

C.J. is survived by his loving wife, Mary Riddle Scandurro, his daughters, Desiree Scandurro and Emily Cenni (Paolo), his grandchildren, Devin, Zoe, Dominick, Mollie, Allie, Luca, Elisa, Rosalie, Samuel, Gianna and Gemma, his brother, Dominick J. Scandurro, Jr. (Alice), his sister, Penny Gasquet (J.F.) also many beloved, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

C.J. was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick J. Scandurro and Gladys Brown Scandurro, and his brother, Michael Scandurro.

Due to Covid-19 services will be private for immediate family only and he will be interred at Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital in C.J.'s memory.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula.
