Bruce John Buras was born on December 9, 1943. He met Judy Foucha in October of 1961 and they immediately fell in love. They both knew they had found their true soul mates. They were married and became one in November of 1964.

Bruce became a proud father of two daughters, Monique and Nicole. The two girls grew into women, married and gave Bruce and Judy three beautiful grandchildren, Brooke, Richie, and Reed. Brooke, the oldest grandchild, made Bruce and Judy so proud when she married and had her first great grandson, Christopher. Brooke has now given Bruce and Judy a second great grandson, Wyatt. Bruce is also survived by his brother, Gene Buras.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Marie Buras; his brother Harry Buras; and his sister Joan Lopez.

Bruce and Judy were married for 54 years, some would say their marriage was born in heaven. When Judy became ill 17 and a half years ago, Bruce retired to take care of his Judy. That is the kind of man he was, dedicated to his wife and family until the day he was freed from his pain and suffering. Bruce moved on to his Heavenly home on October 14, where one day he will be reunited with his Judy and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm followed by a Funeral Mass at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Rosaryville Cemetery.
