Cecilia DeMarco Giannobile, 101, of Hammond, Louisiana, joined her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 19, 2021. She spent her final days in the comfort of her home and passed peacefully of natural causes. The daughter of Sicilian immigrants, she encouraged her husband to purchase Exclusive Cleaners and changed the name to Pete's Cleaners. So goes the adage "Behind every successful Man is a Woman."

Cecilia is survived by her son, Peter Jr. and his wife Tracy; son, Jimmy and his wife Jaydeen; daughter, Cecilia; grandchildren, Melissa, Will, Sarah, Jennifer, and Julie; great grandchildren, Alex, George, Henry, Emily, David, Isaac, and Jayda; and great great grandson, John Luke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Sr.; parents, Joe and Anna DeMarco; sisters, Vita and Mary; brothers, Johnnie, Sam, Frank, Vincent, and Joe Jr.; and grandson, Jacob.

The family extends their appreciation to Heart of Hospice for their excellent care and attention.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Albert's Catholic Student Center, 409 W Dakota St, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 9:00 am.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.

Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family. Thank you for your cooperation.

Donations are welcomed to St. Vincent de Paul Society in Cecilia's name.
