Charles Delmer McCulloch, Sr. passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, in Mandeville, Louisiana, at the age of 89. He was born on Wednesday, December 22, 1926, in Russellville, Alabama to the late Josephine Mitchell McCulloch and Delmer McCulloch.

He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and retired after 20 years of service. He went on to work for and retire with Texaco where he was employed for 20 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend who will be remembered fondly and deeply missed.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Charles "Mackie" D. (Angie) McCulloch, Jr., Timothy M. McCulloch; two daughters, Vivica McCulloch Rawls, Rebecca McCulloch (Scott) Durman; six grandchildren, Naomi McCulloch, James Gonzales, Jessica Rawls (Travis) Byrd, Kayla McCulloch (Keith) Hennick, Jacob (Naomi) Durman, Nikolaus Durman; and three great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rawls, Klaire Hennick, and Alea Cox.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Collier McCulloch; daughter, Katie Ann McCulloch; father, Delmer McCulloch; mother, Josephine Mitchell McCulloch; three brothers, Mack McCulloch, Aldridge McCulloch, Samuel McCulloch; and twin great granddaughters, Addisyn Claire and Brynlee Faith Gonzales.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time.

Interment with military honors will follow in Sandhill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
