Evon Patricia Hoover Anthony passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 surrounded by her family, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 76. She was born on Wednesday, May 22, 1940 in Pumpkin Center, Louisiana to the late Eileen Felder Hoover and the late Thomas George Hoover. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Evon is survived by her son, Marc Anthony and wife Wendi; sister, Gwen Threeton; grandchildren, Kaleb Bishop, William Bishop, Kaleigh Bishop, Brenden Anthony, and Taylor Anthony; great-grandchildren, Bransyn Adams, and Cohen Bishop; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas George Hoover; mother, Eileen Felder Hoover; and daughter, Sherri Dawn Bishop.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.
