Revelation 14: 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Rev. Gary Lynn Soley, a great man of God, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the age of 56 surrounded by his family. He was born on Thursday, May 7, 1964, in Independence, Louisiana, to the late Jesse and Maxine Soley. He was employed at T.K. Valve in Hammond since he was 18 years old, until his retirement. He also served as Assistant Pastor at several churches. Church was his favorite place to be. He loved preaching the Word of God.

He left to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 29 years, Sherry Daniel Soley; children, Ashley Wright, Gary Soley Jr., Charles "Chad" Fritz Jr. (Candida), Christy Michelle LeBlanc (Robert), and Lauren Landry (Nicholas Adam); siblings, Thomas "Tommy" Soley (Dorothy), Richard Soley (Laura), Sandra Hackney (Joe), Marilyn Hall (Arthur), and Jason Whittington (Connie); grandchildren, Victoria Fritz, Natalea Fritz, La'el LeBlanc, William Fritz, Milena LeBlanc, Jacob Landry, Ethan Landry and Zoe Landry; and great-grandchild, Navaeh Johnson. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and countless friends in the Lord.

Visitation for friends and family will be at New Life United Pentecostal Church, 72151 Camellia Drive, Covington, La 70433, where he was a faithful member, on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume at New Life United Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Aldon Morse and Rev. Malcom Meyers. Interment will follow at Little River Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all who prayed and contributed to his care during his illness. Special thanks goes to the donor's family, who made it possible for us to have a husband, dad, brother and friend a few more years.
Gary always had a kind word to say and never complained. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family. Thank you for your cooperation.
