Gerald Joseph "Cyril" "Jerry" Vicknair, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at the age of 83. He was born on March 24, 1937, in Reserve, Louisiana, the son of the late Cyril Vicknair and Beatrice Haydel Vicknair.
Gerald is survived by his sons, Rory Vicknair, Curtis Vicknair (Dana), and Eric Vicknair (Tiffany); step son, Scottie Kondroik (Laura); and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Pattie Scott Vicknair; sisters, Hazel Clement and Vivian Bergeron; brothers, Merlyn Vicknair and Clifton Vicknair; step daughter, Pamela Deutsche; and step son, Alex J. Kondroik, Jr.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family. Thank you for your cooperation.
