Harold David Kahn Obituary

Harold David Kahn, passed away at Forest Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the age of 85. He was born on June 19, 1936, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Benjamin Kahn and Louise Hart. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Kahn. Harold was Jewish in faith. He graduated from Tulane University with a Ph.D in Mathematics. Harold was a Professor of Math at UNO for many years, a Rhodes Scholarship recipient, and a member of MENSA. He was married to the late Suzanne R. Benton and had no children. After Hurricane Katrina, he became a resident of Covington.

Harold will be interred at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery #1 on Louisa Street in New Orleans at a later date.
