Harvey Joseph Kliebert passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 80. He was born on Friday, August 13, 1937 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Gertrude Poche-Kliebert and the late Moline Kliebert. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Harvey is survived by his daughters, Rita Gayle Kliebert, Janet Kliebert Mitchell and her husband Bruce, and Jennifer Kliebert Peranio and her husband Jared; son, Michael Kliebert and his wife Melody, grandchildren, Kelly Kimble, Kimberly Anthony, Lorraine Schilling, Janice Mitchell, T-Mike Kliebert, and Kassidi Peranio; and great-grandchildren, Bradley Mayeaux, Matthew Mayeaux,Carol Kimble, KelliJo Kimble, Blaize Kliebert, Charlee Kliebert, Jillian Schilling, LoriAnn Schilling, and Kristopher Schilling, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, Moline Kliebert; mother, Gertrude Poche-Kliebert; granddaughter, Dawn Michelle Harper; three brothers, Robert Kliebert, Henry Kliebert, and Paul Kliebert; and sister, Janice Kliebert-Tate.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
