James Barrett Davis passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the age of 74. He was born on Thursday, March 25, 1943 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Mercedes Rosado Davis and the late Oran Lloyd Davis. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

James is survived by his wife, Janet Loupe Davis; step-children, Kyle Busekist (Adrien), and Ryan Busekist; sister, Judi Buchanan; and grandchild, Melanie Grisham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oran Lloyd Davis; and mother, Mercedes Rosado Davis.
