Joe "J.C." Vallaroutto, age 82, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was native and resident of Hammond, La. J.C. was a cabinet maker for over 50 years. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was born on September 16, 1938.

J.C. is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose Vitrano Vallaroutto; son, David; daughter, Debra; grandson, Joseph Vallaroutto; sister, Judy Vallaroutto Anderson (Gary); and uncle, Frank Vallaroutta; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jennie Vallaroutto.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.

The Family would like to thank the many friends and family for their visits, love and support during this time.
