Joseph Albert Maurer passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in Hammond, LA, at the age of 33. He was born on Sunday, September 2, 1984 in Independence, LA to Sherry Clark and Joseph R. Maurer. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Joseph is survived by his father, Joseph R. Maurer; mother, Sherry Clark; sisters, Chandra McKinney (Sean), Amber Broussard (Dexter), Rebecca Addison, and Raeanna Addison; brothers, Kyle Maurer, Brandyn Maurer (Destiny), Joshua Addison, and Jesse Lee; aunt, Josephine Bergeron; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Albert Maurer and Angela Maurer Mashon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Colonial Cemetery, Independence, LA, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:00 am.
