Joseph X. Giluso, Sr., 66, native of Hammond and resident of Independence, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Tulane Medical Center.
He was born on Thursday, May 25, 1950, in Independence, LA.

Surviving are his wife, MaryAnn Schiro Giluso, son & daughter-in-law, Joey and Kim Giluso, Jr., daughter, Karry Giluso Vicknair, daughter & son-in-law, Rachael G. and Doni Lovetro, step-son and his wife, Dustin and Tonya Kirkland, step-son, Charlie Kirkland, 9 grandchildren, Lawson Vicknair, Brinley Giluso, Cayden Giluso, Donivan Lovetro, Alexa Ott, Kourtney Kirkland, Laken Giluso, Londen Giluso, and Malori Lovetro, sister, Annie Mae G. Harper, and his brother, Tommy Giluso.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gus Giluso, mother and step-father, Annie T. Giluso Anzalone and Joseph Anzalone, sister, Dorothy G. Greco and niece Tracey Lynn Greco.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.

Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hammond, Louisiana.
