Lou Ann Treuil Guidry was born February 19, 1970, in Belle Chase, LA and passed away October 21, 2021, in Gulfport, MS at age 51. She was a parishioner of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church and a 1989 graduate of Independence High. Lou enjoyed cooking and baking and trying new foods and duplicating them without a recipe. A lover of music, she enjoyed watching medical shows and the television series "Supernatural". She is survived by her husband of 34 years whom she met in high school, Rene Joseph Guidry; children, Britany Guidry, Briar Guidry and Brock Guidry, mother, Diane Parker, brother, Bert Treuil; sisters, Rebecca Murphy and Mary Treuil; and grandson, Clayton Smith. Lou is preceded in death by her father, Louis Treuil; and grandson, Blake Smith. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m.
