Melinda Ann Germany Hedgcoth Obituary

Melinda Ann (Germany) Hedgcoth, 61, was born on March 28, 1961, in Laurel, MS to the late Burnace Earl Germany and Evelyn (Wood) Germany. Melinda passed away at her home in Tickfaw, LA on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

She is survived by her partner, William Barron; daughters, Amanda (Corey) White, Kim (Derrick) Hernandez; step daughter, Trisha (Jim) Carson; grandchildren, Logan, Naomi, Baileigh, and Jaymie White, Abigail and Andrew Hernandez, and Kayla and Bella Carson; siblings, Kay (Tim) Herrington and Jamey (LaVonda) Germany; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Melinda is preceded in death by her two brothers, Burnace Steven Germany and Billy Earl Germany.

Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Friday, June 3, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow services.
