Susan Marie "Chewy" Larose passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Manchester Healthcare in Manchester, Tennessee, at the age of 74. She was born on Monday, April 12, 1943 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Cleveland Anthony and Marie Elise Morel Larose. She was an elementary teacher for 37 years in Louisiana and Tennessee and was a member of Who's Who of American Teachers. She was of the Catholic faith and loved doing yard work and her home. She also loved President Donald Trump, especially what he is doing with the country, Israel and the Veterans Program.

Susan is survived by one brother, John Larose of New Orleans, LA; one sister, Mary Larose of FL; niece, Kimberly (David) King of Altamont; and great nephews, Kevin Paul (fiancé Heather Yarbrough) Herring and Kyle Benjamin (Autumn King) Herring.

The Manchester, TN visitation and funeral service will be held at Coffee County Funeral Chapel, 786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, Tennessee 37355, on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm and continue until the service time of 6:00 pm.

The Hammond, LA visitation and funeral service will be held in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Monday, July 24, 2017. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until the service time of 4:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
