William Francis Haugh Jr. of Folsom, LA, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the age of 73. He was born September 28, 1948, in Pensacola, FL. He was the son of late William Francis Haugh Sr. and Juanita Lambeth Haugh.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Jean Haugh; two sons, Billy Haugh (Shandale) and Jeffrey Scott Haugh (Melinda); one daughter, Jennifer Haugh Soileau (Phillip); two sisters, Janis Lubonovic and Lynn Olson; and 11 grandchildren, Kacie Burkhalter, Tyler Bates, Jeffrey Haugh Jr., Kayla Lee, Courtney Haugh, Gregory Haugh, Hayden Haugh, Kennedy Haugh Dickens, Fred Soileau, Drake Lee, and Blaise Lee; along with 18 great grandchildren and 4 loving pups.

Some knew him as William, most knew him as Bill, while his children and grandchildren lovingly called him Paw. Bill was a graduate of Pensacola High School class of 1967 and retired from Valero Energy Corporation in Krotz Springs after a 17-year career where he was known as "Bear".

Always ready with a joke and a smile, Paw had a spirit for life. He loved Jesus and prayed his prayer anytime he passed the Baileyville Fire Station. He loved to go to the casino, fish, spend time with his pups, and talk to anyone, including strangers, willing to strike up a conversation with him. While he loved many things, his true passion was spending time with his family. His legacy and spirit will remain in the hearts and memories of his friends and family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Bill, which will be held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, LA on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm, with the service beginning at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly asked you to donate blood at your local blood bank in honor of Bill or give a memorial contribution to the American Kidney Foundation, in his honor.
