Betty Carpenter Salinas Obituary

Betty Carpenter Salinas, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at the age of 89. She was born February 10, 1932, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who took pride in putting her family and home first in her life.

Betty is survived by her children, Cynthia S. Walz, Jose A. Salinas Jr., Jackie D. Salinas, Ricardo Salinas (Terri), and Don C. Salinas (Susan); step-daughters, Carmen Gutierrez (Nick) and Maria A. Salinas; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose A. Salinas Sr.; daughter, Patricia S. Threeton; and son-in-law, Donald R. Threeton.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 pm.

Betty will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana.
