Joseph Guerra III Obituary

Joseph Guerra III passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 77. He was born on Tuesday, September 26, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Gloria Guerra and the late Joseph Guerra Jr. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.

Joseph is survived by his sons, Benjamin Guerra and Kevin Bernard, brothers, Gerard, Kevin, Gus and Greg Guerra, sister, Kathleen Murla, his granddaughter, Kristen Bernard-Carroll, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Guerra, Jr. and mother, Gloria Guerra; as well as his siblings, George, Noella, Kenneth and Daniel Guerra; and granddaughter, Tiffany Bernard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak St, Hammond, LA 70401, on December 11, 2021 at 11:00 am.
